STUDIO APARTMENT BY THE SEA
The investor didn't necessarily want a glamorous interior—she didn't want high-gloss tiles or too many decorative elements. After several interior design proposals, the design settled on contrasting white and anthracite tones, white furniture, a mural depicting plants on two walls, and decorative moldings along the ceiling.
The studio apartment had an interesting layout for a small space – the space was divided into four squares, one of which was the bathroom. The remaining squares became the bedroom area, the rest the kitchen and dining room, the living room, and a small hallway. Yes – in 25 square meters!
The investor finished the apartment with the help of her family, and we painted the mural ourselves.
The studio apartment rented out very quickly and reportedly found a very friendly and responsible tenant.
The building's staircase was unique compared to most similar buildings – the corridor floors and stairs were covered in black and white stoneware imitating marble, and the decorations at the elevator entrance were similar.
The stair railing was black, ornate, in the Art Deco style, and the walls were covered with black and white striped object wallpaper. The installation boxes were encased in black MDF, and in some places, wallpaper featured black and white floral graphics.
A young investor asked us to design the interior of a 25-square-meter studio apartment for investment purposes. The design brief was based on a contemporary, simple, and versatile interior that would appeal to many potential renters. She also wanted the apartment to reflect the building's staircase while staying within a specific budget.
