NAVY STRIPES
The vast majority of the furniture was custom-designed (including the bed) to maximize the space and adapt it to the existing slopes, ventilation, and the evolving needs of the primary user. Mom also had her eye on the future – a large, well-designed wardrobe would be useful in the future, regardless of the room's intended use. She also wanted the room to have a place to display the medals and awards her son had already earned through his achievements.
We also wanted to illuminate the small room, and the light would also become an additional source of entertainment for the children – so we designed LED strips in several areas with color-changing remote controls – this solution has been very popular with young people for a long time and brings a lot of joy!
The desk was built on an electric frame to grow with its user. A large corner wardrobe, wall shelves, a bookcase, and drawers in the bed provided storage for the children's toy collections and school supplies. All in neutral colors with accents of blue and navy blue.
The vast majority of the interior design was intended to match the rest of the house – bright, with touches of white and gray, but still incorporating elements my son would appreciate! He loved the color blue, playing on the carpet, and fooling around with his little brother. Mom made the remaining design decisions :)
So, the small room with the tall window gained new furniture, lighting, and functionality!
One day, a boy's parents decided to give his room a makeover! The boy was about to start school, and this change required adapting the space in his little world to accommodate the new functions.
The room was to have a desk and a good chair, more storage space, and a significantly larger bed – during the design consultations alone, the boy had already grown several centimeters!
