LOFT BATHROOM
Industrial-style bathroom design
The entire space was given a loft-style look – more precisely, a contemporary one with industrial elements. Behind the mirror is a brick-clad wall, black walls and ceiling, and tiles imitating concrete and stone. Additional lighting, which was missing in the bathroom before the renovation, was added. The uneven walls, characteristic of this building's construction, became a decorative element, concealing additional light points.
The bathroom became more functional, and its style more suited its users.
The bathroom features a walk-in shower instead of a bathtub (no thresholds). A convenient and easy-to-clean wall-hung toilet is also available, along with ample storage space. The color scheme is full of contrasts – whites and blacks, shades of wood, grays, and reclaimed brick.
Sometimes we design only selected rooms in houses and apartments. These are usually the most challenging spaces to design – bathrooms, kitchens, and sometimes rooms that serve more than one function.
In this case, the young investor wanted to adapt the apartment's old bathroom to the needs of other sick household members. And to give the room a fresh new style.
